My eyes gaze at you while you talk
Angels spring from your mouth
With wings of magnificence, they pierce my mortality
And claim victory over my soul
Your words, like ample nets that span the oceans
Capture every thought
Taking in my very reality
And feeding it to my very own self
My eyes gaze at you while you talk
Your lips, slender as the edges of an untouched rose
Being cultivated by nature and God
Of spirits that lay claim to its virginity
And of men who try to possess its unbridled charm
I want to lean closer to see it for what it really is
To smell its scent, and feel how supple its petals are
And take them for myself, even for just a while
My eyes gaze at you while you talk
Your hair, like the rays of the sun, gleams at me and blinds me
It covers my eyes and forces the river from within me to flow gently
It nourishes the flora inside me, making life swell out to every part of my body
Its leaves, swathing my heart
And growing flowers that share the color of your caramel locks
My eyes gaze at you while you talk
Your eyes calm me like the moon that makes love to the stars
Lying in a pitch-black bed, your soul peeps through them
And tempts me to unravel its naked form
To see its essence, and become one with it
To create within it, a new life that we can both share as our own
My eyes gaze at you while you talk
And the more I spend time doing so
The more I realize the truth
That Ive never seen anyone so beautiful
Beyond words
